After touring around, you will come to the end of the river. Of course you can go further, and if you want to get to Marina Bay, there is an underpass in Fullerton Hotel that can bring you across the road.
The pictures above, shows the sights around Fullerton Hotel. Along the river, there are many other similar statutes that shows you how life was like in Singapore in the past, and how busy the port is.
This shows Cavenagh Bridge, one of the famous bridge that stayed with Singapore.
It was built in 1869 to help the traffic instead of crossing over using boat. Rickshaws and ox cart used this to cross over, but due to the flourishing trades, the bridges cannot handle the traffic and thus, Anderson Bridge was built to help ease the traffic. Now Cavenagh Bridge is a pedestrian bridge.
When you are tired from walking, there is an ice cream store just beside the bridge. They also sell beverages too!
